The lizard image haunted me until I put it to cloth – #1 lizard was lonely and needed a pal – Lizard #2. Machine quilting the two lizard buds had me realize the colors were that of the desert. The odd shaped buttons add the unusual, which is something that is expected in a desert. From there the petroglyph people and pyramid shapes entered to fill up my dream of going to the desert.
