Dye painting and blending colors to make new colors
- yellow and olive green to make the lime green, creylon blue and olive
green to make the turquoise. To get the background color print mix was
spread over soda ash soaked dry material. Then dyes where mixed with print
mix and spread on the background with either a sea sponge or a sponge
brush. The Avion Flue got me thinking about how wonderful chickens are and how we abuse them so I thought I would play up their beauty. |
