The allure of the daylilies near Petaluma CA captured my attention. The colour and sparkle of the petals in the morning sun made my heart sing.. The scientific name for daylily is Hemerocallis coming from the Greek meaning "beauty" and "day". Their delicate blooms last only a day, thankfully the plants are prolific with their blooms.
The little ladybug was just the bonus of viewing closely the beauty that we often walk by on our way to somewhere else. We must remember to stop and examine nature at it's finest.
