$850 Cotton cloth and wool batting. A Caribbean flamingo feeding its baby at the San Diego Zoo was the inspiration. A creature so gently tending to its offspring communicates that we as humans need to care take our natural environment. Flamingos are at risk, especially because they usually habituate in large groups. The fragile wetlands they occupy could become polluted or the land use could alter. Is this parent aware that their species could become threatened or endangered? |
