Circle Dance

Machine pieced, appliqued and quilted with hand beading.
Commercial and hand dyed cottons; yarn.

This was my first quilt using beading and crazy piecing. My own intuition or perception was used to carry the piece along. When I started the piece I had just hand dyed some muslin. Some of the brighter colors are incorporated in this quilt.

This was also my first small quilt and the first quilt I finished after completing my masters. It made me realize how much I missed working with color and texture. Obviously, it is very special to me.
