On the Wings of a Dragonfly

The summer of 2006 we did not go far from home. One place we did go was the Carmanha Valley. On our way there, travelling on dusty logging roads, we gained a passenger. This little dragonfly thought he'd come along for the ride. I could not bear to see him hurt so Ken stopped the car. The dragonfly was fine and was put back into the forest. Who knows, this image might be come a piece of one of art quilts one day.
