"The Red-Breasted Nuthatch" was inspired by my desire to make British Columbian's aware that this wonderful, little bird is at risk in their province. When I realized the dilemma of the Nuthatch it hit home that I wanted to make others cognizant of this fact. Such a sweet and innocent creature, right in our backyards, requires action from each of us to assist in its plight.
